The New Solo Joint by company founder Michael Clip Payne. This follow up to his ciritically acclaimed debut album is ready to go to press. Featuring guest appearances by an international cast of all-star musicians; P-Funk All Stars, Garry Shider, Mike Kidd Funkadelic Hampton, Lige Curry, Danny Bedrosian,420FM's Lili Haydn, Ted Orr and the 420FM International crew Gael Barbiere, Jean Gillet, Hamid Saidj: with vocal performances by Belita Woods, Elizabeth Withers and Joe Eppard from 3, Including two tracks produced by DJ Etienne De Crecy, the Pope of Techno.

Besides being the leader of the 420 Funk Mob and DRUGS:The Prescription for Mis-America here in the United States. There is an international aspect to this award winning producer and songwriters career. Clip had his first international blockbuster producing and writing the International Dance Hit "The Baby" by Jordie. He then wrote and produced tracks for MC Solaar on his breakout album "Qui sème le vent récolte le tempo", the album that broke hip-hop in France and Europe. He also wrote and produced tracks for the critically acclaimed debut albums of French Pop Sensation Sinclair and legendary Afro-Beat drummer Tony Allen.

Clip has collaborated with French DJ's, Alex Gopher," You My Baby and I" and the Pope of Techno Etienne De Crecy, "Tempovision," producing hits and winning awards while creating a new style of Techno house music know as French Touch. The French Satellite and Cable giant Canal + unscrambled their signal for a special broadcast after France won the World Cup. The show featured an appearance by Alex Gopher and the 420FM International Crew with Clip as front man in a band which included Garry Mudbone Cooper from Bootsy's Rubber Band, Elizabeth Withers, French Pop Star Mattheu Chedid and Gael Barbieri. The performance of Pary People the tune he co wrote with Gopher was seen by over 10 million people across Europe. Clips collaboration with Etienne De Crecy on Tempovision featured Belita Woods, lead singer and producer of the 70's band Brain Storm. In 2003 Clip went into the studio with Psycho on da Bus leader Doctor L on "Boom Goes the Big Bang" the single became a hit in 2004 after the US invasion into Iraq. The song features Clip, Doctor L and Tony Allen.

2004 could be described as "The Live Year". Clip's solo projects the 420 Funk Mob and Drugs:The Prescription for Mis-America headlined at festivals n the United States and in Europe in the breaks from P-Funks busy schedule. The 420FM Super Meltdown TripFest has evolved into a scene that unites artists and fans from different musical genres for an evening of music that crosses all musical boundaries. This year 420FM shared the stage with the hottest posse on the music scene, The Muzik Mafia out of Nashville, part of the show to be broadcast on Country Music Television in January as part of the MAFIA's tv series. The band broke new ground when Clip brought a mixed posse of 420FM, Drugs members and special guest George Clinton to Zaragoza Spain for the 25th Anniversary of Spanish Radio 3. The show was nationally broadcast and a TV special featuring the band, the festivals hit, aired the following week. This historic night has been captured on the new WEFUNK AD2k release "ALIVE IN SPAIN", a 3cd set. The package also includes as a bonus the bands first DVD, "What Time is IT?" featuring performances 420FM performances at the Freebird Cafe in Jacksonville Florida & the Universal Church of Love and Music's Freedom Fest in Pennsylvania.

2005 started off with an appearance at the biggest party in the world. SUPER BOWL 39 as the official ESPN/NFL TAILGATE PARTY BAND. Performing under the pseudonym WEFUNK FM , Clip led a combined posse of 420FM and DRUGS into history as the only unsigned acts ever to take part in a Super bowl Sunday Celebration. WEFUNKFM rocked the Stadium Parking Lot at the Tailgate Party while Gretchen Wilson, Alicia Keys, and Paul McCartney were the pre-show and halftime entertainment.

In August Clip succeeded in bringing WEFUNK's showcase event, the 420FM Super Meltdown Tripfest to Europe. 420 Funk Mob with their Special guests DRUGS, Kidd Funkadelic, Fred Wesley, Kendra Foster and George Clinton over to Heidelberg Germany as the headliners at the 2005 AUDIOSOUL FESTIVAL. 7.000 people crowded into the courtyard of the famed HEIDELBURG SCHLOSS, a 1200 year old castle that by day is the third largest tourist attraction in Europe to catch DRUGS and the 420 Funk Mobs German debut.

Clip returned to America in time to take part in the promotional tour for the debut of George Clinton's C-Kunsphruzy Label and the release of his first album in 10 years.He became the 5th member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers when they did a tribute to Pfunk during George's 50th Anniversary celebration at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, Despite the rigorous P-Funk touring schedule and the 420FM/DRUGS off days parties, Clip managed to find time to hit the studio and produce the latest Cacophonic FM record "Funky Jazz 2" as well as laying the groundwork for the upcoming 420 Funk Mob studio album and another secret project known only as Girl.
